Bosnia and Herzegovina bring up Kirsan?s Supporters List to 86 We have received the letter of support to Kirsan?s Presidential ticket from the Chess Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed by the President Zdenko Vukic. The letter reads: ?The Chess Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina highly supports reelection of Mr. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov for the President of the FIDE as well as all the persons listed on his ticket?.
Therefore the official list of Chess Federations supporting Kirsan for FIDE Presidential Election currently amounts to 86 out of 155 voting Federations against 39 Federations declared by the competing candidate Bessel Kok. The voting will be held on the 2nd of June in Turin.
